Who we are

Xah is a specialty tea brand from Bengaluru. We sell whole-leaf, small-batch teas from Assam and the Nilgiris, sourced straight from the growers. No dust, no mystery blends, no promises that tea will fix your life. Buy online and on Amazon, or come taste before you buy at our tea store and café in Indiranagar, where we also pour cold brews, tea blends and seasonal specials.

What we stand for

Tea should fit into your day the way you actually live it, not the way tradition says it has to. So we go straight to real growers and real gardens, because good tea starts with good sourcing, not good marketing. Our whole approach is more zeal, less zen. Less "sit still and breathe," more "wait, what is this and can I get another."

Our story

Traveling through Europe, Kalyani kept getting handed genuinely great tea, and kept finding out, again and again, that the leaf was Indian. Around the same time, back home, Rahul, whose family has grown tea in Assam for generations, poured her a cup from his own garden. That was it, really. Two people convinced the good stuff shouldn't have to leave the country to be any good. So they built Xah.

Know Our Founders

Kalyani — Founder-in-Chief. A lawyer and executive coach who quit coffee, fell hard for tea, and turned the obsession into a company. Brings the strategy, the brand, and zero tolerance for tea being boring again.

Rahul — Co-founder. Grew up among his family's almost century-old tea gardens in Assam and never understood why none of that quality made it into an Indian cup. Brings the sourcing, the gardens, and the eye for what "good leaf" actually means.

Guiding the craft is a council of multi-generational planters and veteran tea tasters from Assam and Nilgiri — people who know their soil, their leaves, and their legacy.

No gimmicks. Just two people who got tired of bad tea, and the growers who back them up.
