About Xah
Xah is "Sah" with intent.
Rooted in চাহ (Sah) — the Assamese word for tea—Xah was born to bring India's finest, craft-quality teas back to the people who should've had them first.
Tea was always treated like a dusty tradition.
It was sold with a side of "calm," meditation, and boring routines.
Worse, it became a pretentious promise of wellness—full of mystical Himalayan sources, chakras in sachets, and fluffy jargon.
We got tired of it. So we built Xah.
Xah is for those who want to know what's in their cup.
We reject the factory-floor sweepings masquerading as "premium blends."
Instead, we look to the future and root ourselves in what matters: small-batch, single-origin teas picked right from the best estates.
More craft. Less commodity. More zeal. Less zen.
We aren't here to sell you a miracle cure brewed by monks on a mountaintop.
We're just here to bring you a genuinely great cup of tea—transparently sourced, expertly crafted, and zero pretence.
Know Our Founders

It started with two lawyers in Bengaluru. One grew up walking among century-old Assam estates; the other was entirely over the caffeine chaos of the city grind.
Both saw the exact same problem: the tea industry was broken.
The world was sipping Indian tea at its peak, while Indians were drinking the leftovers—dusty bags dressed up as "premium."
At the helm is Kalyani Kulkarni, our founder-in-chief. A lawyer and executive coach turned full-time tea-head, Kalyani brings sharp strategy, bold vision, and a deep obsession with connecting people through the radical act of good tea.
Guiding our craft is a council of multi-generational planters and veteran tea tasters from Assam and Nilgiris—people who know their soil, their leaves, and their legacy.
No gimmicks. Just generational knowledge and obsessive quality control.
