Phalap is a tribal-crafted smoked tea from Assam & Arunachal Pradesh, made by the Singpho community using a process most of India has never heard of — tea leaves smoked over an open flame inside bamboo, no factory in sight.

It doesn't taste like your Sunday chai. It tastes like campfire, char, and a story you'll want to repeat.

We didn't tone it down. If you've only ever had teabag-and-milk, this will be a genuine plot twist — smoky, bold, almost meaty in body, with a finish that lingers. Drink it black. Drink it slow. This isn't a tea for multitasking.
