Jasmine flowers only release their scent at night — so traditional jasmine tea is scented by layering fresh tea with real blossoms over several nights, letting the leaf slowly absorb it. Done right, it smells like walking past a jasmine vine in bloom, not like perfume in a cup.

Fragrant, light, faintly sweet — this is the tea for people who find most 'floral' teas overdone. It isn't. It's restrained, the way the good ones always are.
